The world through Nikita's eyes!

Introduction

Hello! I'm a 15-year-old with a deep curiosity about the world and an eagerness to explore and optimize life in every possible way. From a young age, I’ve been passionate about understanding how things work and finding ways to make them better—whether through technology, habits, or teamwork.

My Interests and Passions

One of my greatest interests is robotics, and I strongly believe in using it to simplify our lives. The idea of building and designing solutions that can enhance efficiency and reduce effort excites me, and I hope to contribute to this field in meaningful ways.

Beyond robotics, my curiosity knows no bounds. I love exploring a wide range of topics, from productivity and study techniques to digital minimalism and habit formation. I believe that continuous learning and experimentation are the keys to improvement, and I apply this philosophy to everything I do.

My Journey in Classical Dance

For eight years, I pursued classical dance, a journey that has taught me discipline, dedication, and the importance of practice. It has shaped my perspective on patience, consistency, and self-expression. While my current focus has shifted to other interests, the lessons I learned from dance continue to influence my approach to learning and life.

My Internship Experience

From the age of 12 to 14, I had the incredible opportunity to intern at a data science and artificial intelligence-based company. Initially designed as a three-month program, I extended it to two years due to the lack of similar opportunities and the immense learning experience it provided. Throughout this period, I gained hands-on experience in AI concepts, problem-solving, and real-world applications, which deepened my passion for technology and its potential to drive efficiency.

My Passion for Public Speaking and Debating

I have always been deeply interested in public speaking and debating. I actively participate in speech and debate competitions, as I believe they are powerful tools for learning and personal growth. Debating, in particular, allows me to explore different perspectives, make predictions, and analyze arguments from another person’s viewpoint. This skill, when honed, not only sharpens critical thinking but also enhances my ability to communicate effectively and serve people better.

I see debating as more than just an intellectual exercise—it’s a way to engage with diverse ideas, challenge my own beliefs, and develop a well-rounded understanding of the world. By refining my skills in public speaking, I aim to inspire, inform, and contribute meaningfully to discussions that drive change.

The Importance of Accountability

I strongly believe that accountability is one of the best ways to grow—not just individually, but collectively. When we hold ourselves accountable, we create a system where progress is visible, goals are clear, and setbacks become learning opportunities. More importantly, accountability fosters a culture of mutual support, where we help each other stay committed to our ambitions.

For me, growth isn’t just about personal achievement; it’s about uplifting others in the process. When we take responsibility for our actions and encourage others to do the same, we create an environment where everyone benefits. Whether it’s through shared goals, habit tracking, or open discussions, I believe that accountability is the key to continuous improvement and lasting success.

My Philosophy: Experiment, Learn, Improve

I approach life with a mindset of experimentation. I enjoy testing different routines, strategies, and methods to see what works best—not just for me, but for optimizing life in general. This drive for efficiency has influenced many aspects of my journey, from study techniques to personal projects.

Through this mindset, I have developed a deep appreciation for structured problem-solving, continuous iteration, and practical implementation—skills that are especially crucial in robotics and productivity optimization.

Looking Ahead

My long-term goal is to build a stable and fulfilling career, fueled not only by my passion for innovation and efficiency but also by a deep personal motivation. Like many other teenagers, I have a strong desire to provide my parents with the best retirement life possible. Their unwavering support has shaped me into the person I am today and will be tomorrow, and I want to ensure that I can give back to them in a meaningful way.

A Journey of Growth and Giving Back

At the core of everything I do is a simple belief: growth is most meaningful when shared. Every challenge I take on, every skill I develop, and every experiment I try is not just for my personal progress but also for the people around me. I want to use my knowledge, experiences, and skills to create, inspire, and give back—whether it's through technology, public speaking, teamwork, or simply sharing my journey with those who find value in it.

I know that the road ahead will be filled with uncertainties, but that’s what makes the journey exciting. With every step forward, I hope to build, learn, and uplift others—because in the end, success isn’t just about what we achieve, but about the positive impact we leave behind.

If you resonate with my journey, ideas, or dreams, I’d love to connect. Let’s grow together, support each other, and work towards making life more meaningful—one step, one experiment, and one act of kindness at a time.

Battling Digital Distractions: Lessons Learned from YouTube Shorts Addiction

I know our brains are so overstimulated that sitting down to read an article has become a challenge. We instinctively want to close this blog and do something more instantly gratifying. Our attention spans have shrunk, and visually unappealing content makes it even harder to focus. But let’s pause for a moment—because what we are about to discuss is exactly why we struggle to focus in the first place. In this blog, I want to share my journey with content consumption and social media—particularly YouTube. I have come to realize the importance of being intentional with what we consume rather than mindlessly scrolling. This is about choice, and I invite you to join me in exploring it. The Downward Spiral of YouTube Shorts The real downfall began when YouTube introduced Shorts. I noticed how addictive they were—not just for me but for almost everyone around me. I found myself losing time to them, constantly wanting to quit but always falling back into the habit. While my usage wasn’t as ex...

Man's Search for Meaning - Viktor.E.Frankl ~ I am sad I can never read this book again for the first time T_T

Yup you saw that right, this book was nothing short of an experience. This book was recommended by my Physics sir, someone I genuinely look up to in every possible way. As in, if he's speaking to someone in the class about literally anything I am there listening to him with my eyes peeled. Everything about him is so respectable. We share the same ideologies and beliefs, and I genuinely want to become like him — the way he thinks, speaks, and carries himself. He actually told us to read this book when we go to college, but the way he spoke about it made me pick it up immediately. He described it as ‘something everyone must read at least once in their life, and honestly the sooner you read it, the better.’ Then he talked about how suffering has meaning, how happiness is just a by-product of it. He explained how this book had been transformative for him, and the way he said it… I couldn’t ignore it. I started reading it on my way back from school, without even waiting to reach h...

To Whom It May (Not) Concern :)

I stopped blogging a few months ago. At first, it was because I didn’t feel like writing much. Or maybe I didn’t feel like putting something truly mine out into the world. There’s a certain vulnerability that comes with sharing your words, even if no one is reading them. But lately, I’ve been wanting to write again. Not for an audience, not for validation, but for myself. So, if you’re somehow here, reading this, consider it a quiet update I’m giving to myself, so that future me can look back and see how I was living and thinking in July 2025. I shifted schools recently. And surprisingly, I’ve adjusted well. The new environment is refreshing, and I’ve made some really good friends—people who feel like warm cups of tea on a tired evening, people with whom silences aren’t awkward but comforting. In this process, I learned something: friendship can’t be measured by how long it lasts . When I was younger, I believed in “best friends forever.” But I’ve realized that “forever” ca...
